Types Of Google Adwords Headlines

When you're creating text ads it's always to your benefit to try several different headline types to find the best response.

Ask A Question

Use your headline to ask a question that the search user may have. If the product your selling is to increase affiliate sales, then you may want to use a headline along the lines of:

Need To Increase Sales?
Are Your Sales Too Low?

You're speaking directly to the search user telling them you have the answer to their question.

State A Fact

Hard facts can draw lots of attention. Sticking with the above scenario, if you were selling a product to increase sales, you would want to try stating a fact about the product in the headline:

Increase Sales 62%
Boost Revenue 40%

Highly Relevant To Query

High quality traffic often comes from headlines that aren't sensational, but mirror the search query. It tells the search user that your ad is highly relevant to their query.

You would place the keywords directly into the headline. When the ads are triggered, the keywords will be in bold.

You'll want to rotate ad variations with different types of headlines to find the best and most profitable combination for all your campaigns.
